Overview
The High Desert area is overflowing with local theater companies and there is almost always a live theater event going on near here. The only problem?
It’s hard to track which shows are going on, and when, and where, even for someone passionate about local theater.
That’s where B.I.T.S. comes in! With a calendar with all the local shows we can fit and information on how and where to get tickets.
The B.I.T.S. Podcast, hosted by Anita Hoffman, interviews teachers, directors, students, and actors about the shows they’re a part of, taking you behind the curtain.
Above all, the goal is Butts In The Seats and eyes on the shows that those in our community have worked so hard on.

Recently retired, Anita has been involved in local theater for decades, including stints at Summit, CTC, Crook County, and currently the Tower Theatre.
One of the biggest things she noticed when leaving her role at Crook County was that she was suddenly missing shows around the area that she would have loved to see!
So, setting out to solve that, she’s launching High Desert B.I.T.S., aiming to celebrate local theater and the people that make it happen on the B.I.T.S. Podcast, and compiling local shows and events in the B.I.T.S. calendar.
So no excuses now, get out and see those shows!
